Our Vision
Â
The role of Sarah McCalden Finance, Mindset, Wellbeing & Growth in this landscape is to bridge the gap between research and real-life transformation in women’s financial wellbeing.
Most organisations offer either tools, theory, or surface-level advice. We combine evidence-based research, psychological insight, and lived experience to create lasting change.
Why Research Matters
Financial wellbeing is more than knowing how to budget or save — it’s deeply connected to confidence, behaviour, and identity.
Many women earn well, yet still feel anxious about money.
Others avoid decisions altogether, despite having resources available.
Too often, solutions are fragmented: apps here, advice there, but no holistic approach.
By partnering with leading researchers, we ensure our programmes are not only practical, but also grounded in the latest science of behaviour, wellbeing, and financial psychology.
Our Current Collaboration
We are proud to be working with Newcastle University through the Arrow Innovation Programme, exploring:
Women’s financial psychology and behavioural patterns.
The specific challenges and opportunities facing women in the North East of England — with global application.
How evidence-based tools (such as financial wellbeing trackers and diagnostic surveys) can improve real-world outcomes.
What Makes This Work Different
Integration of science and practice – bringing academic rigour into everyday tools.
Holistic wellbeing – treating financial health as part of overall life satisfaction.
Innovation focus – exploring new digital solutions (including AI-driven tools) to make support more accessible and personalised.
Lived expertise – combining research with my own story of transformation, ensuring it stays relatable and human.
Partnership Opportunities
We’re always open to collaborations with:
Researchers – to deepen the evidence base for women’s financial wellbeing.
Organisations and corporates – to embed financial wellness into workplace culture.
Educational institutions – to bring practical, research-backed programmes to schools, colleges, and universities.
Aligned initiatives – from health and wellbeing projects to gambling harm reduction.
