From Knowing to Growing

You Already Know Enough to Grow Your Business. The Bigger Question Is: What’s Determining What You Do Next?

You can have a good business, know there’s considerably more you could create, and still find yourself making decisions, spending time and taking action in ways that don’t necessarily take you towards it.

Because creating what’s next isn’t only about knowing what to do.

It’s about becoming much more deliberate about what you’re creating, the choices you’re making and what’s influencing them.

From Knowing to Growing will help you get clear on what you genuinely want your business to look like six months from now, identify the three decisions, changes or actions that could make the greatest difference, and make one practical shift towards becoming the person who does what your next level of growth requires.

Six months from now, your business could look very different.

The question is: what needs to change for you to create it?

GET FROM KNOWING TO GROWING

Knowing more may not be what takes you further

You may already have a good business.

You have experience, clients, relationships, ideas and access to more business information than you could ever realistically use.

And you may also know there’s considerably more you could create.

Perhaps there are decisions you’ve been thinking about making.

Opportunities you haven’t fully pursued.

Things you’ve outgrown but haven’t changed.

Or simply a sense that the business you’re capable of creating is bigger than the one you’re currently running.

The question isn’t necessarily whether you know enough to get there.

It’s what determines whether you actually do what the next version of your business requires.

Because our business decisions aren’t made on strategy alone.

They’re also influenced by what we believe about ourselves, what we’ve become accustomed to, what we expect to happen and what feels familiar or possible to us.

Sometimes that looks like hesitation or avoidance.

Sometimes it looks like being incredibly busy — but not necessarily with the things that would make the greatest difference.

And sometimes it looks like making a completely sensible decision without ever stopping to ask whether it’s actually taking you towards what you say you want next.

That’s the gap From Knowing to Growing will help you explore.

What does your next six months actually require from you?

Inside From Knowing to Growing, you’ll create your own Six-Month Business Momentum Map.

You'll start by getting clear on what you genuinely want your business to look like six months from now — and what would make that period genuinely significant for you.

From there, you'll identify your three Momentum Actions:

The three decisions, changes or actions most likely to move you towards it.

Not everything you could do.

Not everything competing for your attention.

The things that matter most for where you say you want to go next.

Then you'll explore something most business planning doesn't address:

What’s actually influencing the choices you’re making about what you do next?

Because the gap isn’t always that you aren’t taking action.

Sometimes you're taking a huge amount of action — just not on the things that would make the greatest difference.

Sometimes you keep postponing a decision or change you know matters.

And sometimes you make a perfectly sensible choice without recognising how much your past experience, expectations or the way you see yourself may be influencing it.

The point isn't to second-guess every decision you make.

It's to become more conscious of what's driving them — so you can decide whether they're taking you towards the business you genuinely want to create.

Finally, you'll identify your first 5% shift: one practical change you can begin making now to create greater alignment between what you want next and what you're doing today.

By the end, you'll have:

  • Greater clarity about what you want your business to look like six months from now
  • Your three Momentum Actions — the decisions, changes or actions most likely to move you towards it
  • A better understanding of what may be influencing the choices you're currently making
  • Your first 5% shift to begin turning that clarity into action and momentum

You don't need another hundred things to do.

You need to know which things matter now — and what needs to change for you to actually do them.

GET FROM KNOWING TO GROWING

This is for you if you know there’s more

This isn't for somebody who's just starting out or looking for another list of things they should be doing to grow a business.

It's for the woman who already has experience behind her.

You've built something. You've created results. You know how business works.

But you also have a sense that what you've created so far isn't the full extent of what you're capable of creating.

Perhaps you're thinking differently about what you want your next chapter to look like.

Perhaps you're doing a lot, but questioning whether all of it deserves your time and attention.

Perhaps there's a decision, direction or opportunity you keep coming back to but haven't fully committed to.

Or perhaps nothing is obviously wrong at all.

You simply know there's more.

From Knowing to Growing gives you the space and structure to step away from the noise and look deliberately at where you're going, what could make the greatest difference now and what's really influencing the decisions you're making about what comes next

What you'll get

GET FROM KNOWING TO GROWING

Why I created From Knowing to Growing

I'm Sarah McCalden, and I've spent years fascinated by the relationship between what we say we want, the choices we make and what we ultimately create.

Why can we know what would create a different result and still not do it?

What influences the decisions we make — often without us realising it?

And how do we become more deliberate about creating what we actually want?

For me, those questions aren't theoretical.

My own life has required me to make changes I once couldn't have imagined — from recovering from life-threatening drug addiction to becoming a marathon and ultramarathon runner, building my business and exponentially increasing my income.

Alongside that lived experience, I've spent years studying and teaching personal development and working with business owners around money, decisions and growth.

In 2025, I also initiated a research project with Newcastle University exploring factors that influence financial behaviour and wellbeing.

Again and again, I've come back to the relationship between how we see ourselves, the decisions we make, the actions we take and the results we create.

Because ultimately, knowing isn't what changes our lives or our businesses.

What matters is what we do with what we know.

Six months from now is coming either way.

The question isn't how much more you could learn between now and then.

It's:

What do you want to have created?

What will make the greatest difference?

And what needs to change for you to actually do it?

If you're ready to stop simply knowing what could change and start becoming more deliberate about creating it, From Knowing to Growing is your place to begin.
