I'm Sarah McCaldenÂ
I’m Sarah McCalden. I’m a Money Mentor and I work in personal development, but more than that—I’ve lived this stuff.
I got clean and sober in 2008 after a life threatening drug addiction. That was the first breakthrough. But it took almost 10 more years before I really started changing the way I thought. I’d done a lot already. I was raising a family, I ran marathons, I'd turned things around in a big way, but I still didn’t believe I could be financially successful. I didn’t believe I could earn a lot or have the kind of life I really wanted. I didn’t feel worthy.
In 2018, something clicked. I stopped focusing on the surface-level stuff and started changing how I actually saw myself. I began to rewire my self-image, my beliefs, and the assumptions running my life. That’s when everything changed.
So I’m not teaching this challenge from a textbook. I’ve lived it, and I keep learning. (There is always more work to do on myself.) I also know how frustrating it is when you’ve already done a ton of work on yourself but keep getting stuck in the same patterns. That’s what Break the Cycle is for: to help you spot those thoughts and shift them for good.
