One small book. Many powerful conversations. The potential to think differently about what's possible...

I'm excited to be bringing back one of my favourite personal development books, You² by Price Pritchett.

At first glance, it doesn't look like much. The entire book is short, and most of the chapters are only a page or two long. Yet despite its size, it contains some of the most powerful ideas I've come across about success, achievement and creating meaningful change in our lives.

One of the reasons I love this book is that it challenges the idea that the answer is always to work harder, try harder or push harder. Many of us have spent years doing exactly that. We put in more effort, invest more time and double down on what we've always done, hoping that eventually we'll get a different result. Sometimes that works, but often it simply leads to frustration because we're still approaching the situation in the same way.

The central message of the book is that breakthroughs often come from thinking differently rather than simply doing more. Instead of focusing on small improvements, it encourages us to consider what might happen if we made an actual leap forward. What if the answer isn't another ten percent improvement? What if the answer is a completely different way of looking at the challenge in front of you?

This isn't a traditional book club where you'll be expected to read chapters in advance or find extra time in your week to prepare. In fact, we'll read each chapter together during the session. Most chapters take only a few minutes to read, which means the majority of our time can be spent where the real value lies: in the discussion.

Each week we'll begin by reading together and then spend the rest of the hour exploring the ideas through conversation, reflection and application. I'll guide the discussion with thought-provoking questions designed to help you think more deeply about your goals, your opportunities, your challenges and the results you're creating in your life.

The questions we'll explore aren't really about the book. They're about you. They're about identifying where you might be stuck, where you may have been relying on more of the same, and where new possibilities might exist. They're about recognising assumptions that have shaped your decisions for years and considering what could change if you challenged them. They're about imagining what a genuine breakthrough might look like and what actions would need to follow.

The conversations are relevant whether your focus is your finances, your business, your career, your health, your relationships or simply creating a more fulfilling life. The principles in this book apply to all of them because at their heart they are about how we think, how we make decisions and how we respond to opportunities.

This book encourages us to stop thinking in terms of small improvements and start considering what might be possible if we made a real leap forward. Not a slightly better result or a small step forward. A real shift in what we believe is possible.

When I ran this book club previously (in 2023), the discussions went far beyond the pages of the book. People began looking at their circumstances differently. They challenged old ways of thinking. They recognised opportunities they hadn't previously seen. They gained clarity about what they wanted and what was getting in the way. The book provided the framework, but the real value came from the conversations and the insights people took away.

Over the course of 6 weeks, we'll work through the book. Each session will provide an opportunity to pause, reflect and think more deeply about where you are now and where you'd like to go. In a world where most people are rushing from one thing to the next, there is something incredibly valuable about spending an hour each week thinking intentionally about your life and the results you're creating.

This book club is for people who are willing to question old assumptions, explore new possibilities and consider what might change if they approached things differently. It's for people who are open to new ideas, willing to challenge their own thinking and interested in having meaningful conversations with others who are committed to growth.

I can't promise what breakthroughs you'll have over the six weeks because every person will bring different goals, ambitions and challenges to the discussion. What I can promise is that you'll spend eighteen weeks exploring ideas that have the potential to change how you think about yourself, your opportunities and your future. You'll have a dedicated hour each week to step away from the noise, think differently, ask better questions and consider possibilities that may never emerge in the busyness of everyday life.

The Action Takers Book Club is about creating the space to think differently, see new possibilities and take action on the things that matter most. The book provides the starting point, but the discussion and implementation is where the magic happens.

We'll begin on Monday 20th July and meet weekly for six weeks. I'd love you to join us.

The Details

We'll meet live every Monday at 9:30am UK time for approximately one hour, for six weeks.

The first session will take place on Monday 20th July 2026.

Each week we'll read together and then spend the rest of the session exploring the ideas through discussion, reflection and application.

You do not need to read the book in advance. We'll read each chapter together during the session, making it easy to join even if life is busy.

Recordings will be available if you're unable to attend live.

Your Investment

There is no financial investment for this Summer Action Takers Book Club.

Normally there would be a charge for a facilitated book club like this, but I've decided to make this one complimentary.

My hope is that it gives people the opportunity to experience the Action Takers Book Club, explore the ideas in You² and spend six weeks having meaningful conversations about possibility, growth and creating better results.

The only investment I'm asking for is your commitment to show up, take part in the discussions and be open to putting the insights into practice.

If you'd like to reserve a space, email [email protected] or send me a WhatsApp message.

This is the first time I've ever been in a book club and wasn't sure what to expect. The book we are reading makes us think about how we live and lessons along the way. It's also great to have an amazing group of people who we can learn so much from and share experiences.

How to get the most from a book and truly inspire you!

The way this is structured makes reading a book so much more powerful than reading alone. Sarah has selected powerful books, and creates a relaxed and safe atmosphere, promoting open conversation, and a deeper appreciation of the book.

I feel hugely inspired after each session and it's already showed in my work and personal life.

I recommend this to everyone. Don't dismiss it because you don't know what you're missing!

Sarah's book clubs are great. The books are  interesting, they always get you thinking and asking questions. As an avid reader, I get to do what I love, read and learn something new each week as well as meeting up with a great bunch of people.
